Dr. Cindy Bressler, DVM

Dr. Cindy Bressler received her veterinary degree from the Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island, Canada, and completed her internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Manhattan's renowned Animal Medical Center.

Dr. Bressler's dedication to excellence led her to pursue specialized training through a rigorous residency in small animal internal medicine, also at the Animal Medical Center. Her extensive career has taken her through referral specialty clinics across Long Island and New Jersey, as well as premier practices throughout Manhattan, giving her unparalleled insight into the city's veterinary landscape and the highest standards of care.

Dr. Bressler has built her reputation pioneering house call veterinary medicine in New York City and the Hamptons, recognizing that pets are most comfortable—and families most at ease—when quality care comes to them. As one of the few veterinarians providing seamless care between Manhattan and the Hamptons, she ensures that these cherished family members receive consistent, expert attention whenever needed.

Dr. Bressler proudly serves Manhattan and the Hamptons communities of Southampton, Water Mill, Sagaponack, Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Sag Harbor, Amagansett, and Montauk—bringing extensive expertise, genuine compassion, and the convenience of home-based care to families who want nothing but the best for their four-legged family members.

Throughout her many years of serving the Hamptons veterinary community, Dr. Bressler was always troubled by the idea that a 24/7 emergency room for pets did not exist. The closest pet ER open all night was up to an hour away, often too far for pets with dangerous medical conditions to travel. It has been her goal to provide this service to the Hamptons community.

This dream was finally realized in Summer 2025 with the opening of Wave Veterinary Emergency and Wellness Center, the Hamptons’ first 24/7 pet ER. This state of the art facility staffs veterinarians, veterinary technicians and assistants 24/7 and features a radiology suite, a cutting edge operating room, an intensive care unit, a lab, a pharmacy, and an extensive wellness center featuring an underwater treadmill and other wellness services.

Known for her extraordinary care for animals and for always being there for her clients, Dr. Bressler sets a new standard for veterinary emergency care.
